All I can say is that, Wandle Wanderers should hold their head up high for showing exemplary maturity and spirit against all the odds.

Although every decision went against the boys, they focused on the football despite all the efforts of the officials to distract thier attention. Wandle were not going to let their hearts rule their heads. As a report has been submitted to the League no more can be said on the issue. However despite 3 Wandle players being sent of, and an additional 15 minutes injury time... yep... 15 minutes..the Wandle boys still did not lose.

We do not usually score players performance, however in this instance, they all showed 100% performance, and if the scores could go to 100 .. .they would. Well done boys you have done us so proud!!! You have shown tremendous positive mental attitude, when all the odds were against you. Wherever we end up this season, will not match the performance, maturity, attitude, skill, ability, and teamwork shown in this game and for this, the parents, the management and everyone who connected with Wandle bow down before you!!!

The game ended 2 - 2, although, with Wandle going up 2 - 0, before having 3 men sent off for nothing and playing a 50 minute half.
